I love all things spirituality, I am a Taurus sun, Scorpio moon and Gemini ascendant. I am not doing photoshoots you can find me doing yoga, teaching breath work and taking my dog on long walks. I always make exploring a priority, visiting National Parks and natural wonders is something that ignites my soul. In the past year, I have visited 8 National Parks including Zion, Bryce Canyon, Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, Canyonlands, Arches, Joshua Tree and the Grand Canyon. You could say I am a total nature junkie. I am always down to shoot elopements or couples sessions in any of these beautiful places.
I think it is important to show up vulnerably and authentically in all aspects of my life so that way my clients can feel safe to do the same. This may seem out of place to mention here, but my brother passed away in 2019 and it completely changed my life. It not only changed who I am but the way I operate as a photographer. I know how short life can be and how you can wish for more memories and more pictures with the people you love. I make it a point to capture all the small things, the moments in between so to say. I know how cherished those moments with grandparents, parents, siblings and loved ones are on your special day. I try to my best to honor the memories of those who can’t be with us here in person, but in spirit. Honoring those people is as important to me on a personal level and as a photographer.
I am Peyton. A 24 year old North Carolina native. I grew up just outside of Pisgah National Forest, a place where my soul feels so at home. I adore nature and all of its inhabitants. I often gather inspiration from greenery and light. I am always seeking out places to shoot that reflect the things I love about nature the most. I married my High School sweet heart, Austin, when we were 19 and 21. I am Momma to my fur babies, Maze and Chloe-Linda. We are currently residing in San Diego, CA which is quite literally the most beautiful place to call home.
